Welcome to the Website "Sprint"

It’s like Drivers’ Ed for the Internet… and you get to the keep the car!

Build your next generation website and learn how to use it at the same time.

The Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay, with the generous support of local grantmakers, is proud to offer a Website “Sprint” at this year’s Chesapeake Watershed Forum. It’s a unique opportunity for watershed associations, waterkeepers, land trusts, soil and water districts, and related organizations to catch up with today’s web.

Participants in the sprint will use their time at the Forum to work closely with leading conservation technology and communications experts. Working together, you will build a modern, attractive, highly functional website for your organization — and learn how to use it.

If you elect to participate in the Website “Sprint,” you will:

  • Wrap up your time at the Forum with a website you can keep — and that you are proud of
  • Develop the skills to use your site fluently
  • Have a platform to launch online advocacy, fundraising, and pollution prevention campaigns
  • Save precious time over alternate methods for developing your site
  • Save a lot of money over conventional methods for developing your site

We invite you to explore these pages to learn more about the Website “Sprint,” tour a demo site like the one you will build, and explore the financial support that you may be eligible for.
